Fab Tec Mfg Ltd is a family owned and operated fabrication/construction business, located in a rural setting, in East Central Saskatchewan at Spy Hill, SK.
The business started in 1976 manufacturing Livestock hanadling and feeding equipment, along with doing custom fabrication for various projects. These projects were in the areas of agriculture, Government, various construction companies, and the local potash mines.
Over the years Fab Tec had evolved into a manufacturing company fabricating agriculture spraying equipment and doing on-site construction work and in 1991 became a registered Saskatchewan Company.
With the down turn in the agriculture field, the demand for field type sprayers reduced dramatically and Fab Tec ended this field in 2004. But with this came a new opportunity, with Fab Tec being centrally located around nearby mines (PCS, Mosaic K1, K2 & K3, and Scissor Creek) and the mines expanding and upgrading their mine sites, came the opportunity of fabricating and manufacturing projects for them as well as erecting steel buildings and other structures for government, construction industries, community projects, etc. While still involved in agricultural products and producing ULC approved fuel tanks, the bulk of Fab Tec's attention is toward fabrication and construction work for mines and various construction companies.
